black edges

i went on vacation for a week and got back and now when i start up ko, the screen is about 4 inches skinnier. i have 2 inch black edges on the side of the game and i cant move the mouse on the black spots either. i have a widescreen and now it is a square gamei havent changed anything on ko but someone else was using my pc while i was gone and might have done somthing. can anyone help?

p.s ill post picture if some1 tells me how

Use the print screen button, and paste into paint. Are you playing KO in "Windowed Mode"?

no its not window mode but the picture doesnt show the black edges. just a skinnier screen

edit: it looks like window mode but its full screen and where there would b extra space there is black bars where i cant move my mouse

right click on desktop. graphic options. panel fit. full screen
