Black Screen of Death- help!!!!

One of my best friends had this problem, a black screen of death after 1927>1928 patch
he have brand new machine
AMD FX4100 quad Core Processor
3,2 GB RAM
Nvidia GeFORCE GTX 550 Ti
windows 7 now he preinstaled he use Windows xp- on both OS he had black screen error!
we updated the drivers to latest, and he still got that problem

any one here knows solution or let we wait for new patch Thanks is advance.

Edit: - Problem solved, updating BIOS solve the problem.
