Blue Screen

Sometimes when i play KO a blue screen pops up saying like memory error or overload or something and then it basically restarts my computer. Any help?

what version of windows do you use
win 95 or 98 se
personally i aint seen a blue screen of death since xp came out

assuming you are using windows xp or 2k

if u are getting a blue screen and then ur pc restarts then

1. go to system properties from control panel
2. on "Advanced" tab click "startup and system recovery settings"
3. un-click "automatically restart"

this way your system should stay on blue screen. note the error number and description. search for it on support.microsoft.com.

if it says someting wrong with memory in the error message, probably the RAM(s) you are using corrupted. You can be sure about it with "memory diagnostic" or such a program. those tools usually creates a bootable disk/cd. you will need to boot your pc with that disk/cd and run tests.

mine bluescreens in mid-summer. all i do is take side off and put a fan near it... works fine after.
