    Default Buying new graphics card

I recently bought an Nvidia 9400 GT graphics card 1024MB DDR2 and it has given me nothing but problems. It's causing overheats, the fan isn't working, it seems to not be compatible with KO, and it's causing cooling issues with my cpu. It could be a faulty unit but I'm returning it and getting something that is known to run smoothly with KO. Does anyone have any suggestions for a graphics card? Price range between $100-$150.

This should work better for you, its also much faster and much cheaper. If you don't live in the US or Canada, I can find something else for you on a site for your country. You bought an underpowered and overpriced graphic card.

Newegg.com - EVGA 256-P2-N753-TR GeForce 8600 GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

But what games are you looking at playing and more information about your PC and its problems would be needed.

that card looks nice. I live in the US so it's something that I will definitely look into. I'm using an AMD Phenom 9500 quad-core processor 2.20Ghz, with 3.00 GB of RAM, 32-bit OS. The built in graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce 6150. KO is the only game I play, and really the only game I'm looking to enhance with performance.

This card is better than the one that I listed earlier and costs the exact same now, it used to be sold for more on newegg.
