I just received the exact same bullshit response...

Apparently they have temporarily disabled the 8 digit passcode (just enter a random 8 digit code - not starting or ending with "zero").

I do this, and I still get the "disconnected from server" error message - so they have still not fixed the "original" problem that started right before last Ares LW when everyone could not connect after changing servers.
