Can't start KO. Because of Win 8.1???

So I have been trying some tricks n what not and it seem like the game wont run, and the only reason why, that I can think of, is because of my Windows 8.1. Nothing happens when I press start, client just disappears(normal)
Any ideas?

Well even if there's lag/dc shouldn't I atleast come to the signing in screen? I mean literally nothing happens when I press "START".

up to date with windows updates? what about windows defender, firewall etc? using laptop or PC?

All updated , i did turn off firewall since it deletes the .exe
and using a laptop Z510 lenovo.
You should turn all off , extract and try loggin if u still having problems , give me ur teamviewer later ill check the problem.

doesnt delete the .exe for me O.o, anyways i tried turning it off and it still has the same behavior.

i dont really care that much to even try reinstalling USKO with turned off firewall, was just trying to help Ganzah -,-

I'm running KO on W8.1 as well and it works just fine.. all updates installed and so on.

I think he had the same problem that you did, he solved it by taking a specific file from Kingdom Online.
It might solve it for you as well.

looks like it might, but downloading kingdom online for 1.5mb file kinda sucks O.o
