Most likely your friend needs to update his graphic card and direct X

To Update his Graphic Card go to

    http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    Product Type: GeForce
Product Series: GeForce 6 Series ( Since its 6200)
Operating System: Choose your operating system ( Since you didn't mention his operating system I was unable to give you a direct link to update his graphic card)
    Language: US

    Click "Search"
    Check the box then "Download"

It should update your graphic card to latest version.

    To Update Direct X

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;DisplayLang=en

Just follow the instructions then you'll be able to download the latest version of Direct X

If the problem still persists ask him if hes using fast loading patch
