Why do YOU use dual wield?(question for those who are warriors and use it)

Coz those weapon's speed is normal which lets u hit faster than raptor-glave. (but it decreases ur AP)

I was holding dual wield and i remember the possibility of legcut was higher than long spear (in KO time, not KE).

Extra elemental damage makes up for the AP (just like gig), unless you have really high str. Even though your AP number is lower then with a Raptor, it can be more damage in the info bar.

I have dual wield because it's cheap for the damage, despite the flaws (can't hit anyone with a CS for decent damage, breaks often). If you are on a low budget, it really is the best bang for the buck (so to speak).

I still use my Gig 7 at times, and refuse to sell it. But the Gig 7 (or my old Raptor 7) can't kill a DM in 43 seconds like my Harpoon +8/80 and DS +8/80.

Even a Tot 7 and DS/Graham 7 will be damage comparable to a Raptor 7, at a lower cost.


As I always say though, there isn't a "best" weapon setup. Everything has it's advatages.

I use harpoon+8 and deepscar+8 like hypnos, and <3 it.

Yestaday while doing troll warriors, harpoon broke (it does that alot :lol: ) so borrowed a friends glave+8...was doing 200-300dmg less than my dualwield.

Nuf said really.

I had a chance to try a totamic +8/80, and an impact +7/70, and my friend(equal stats) had a raptor +7/70, our AP was just about the same(raptor had more) we did about 10 1v1's, and we switched weapons about mid way.

Pretty much, whoever had the tota 8/impact beat the raptor, even though raptor had more ap by about 100~.

Im working on a duel wield. I have a Raptor +8/80, Glave +8/80 as a backup weapon. And a giga +7 (for those lame spear def people).

What is the absolute best setup for a duel wield? Totamic +8/80? 1h giga? Price is not the problem. I dont care what it costs. Im only interested in the best.

Use it for exp/farm but I dont recommend it for PK. Dual defense and u are screwed bigtime. Tho not many ppl know about it neither have items like CS or fp parts with spear/ax/sword. Still, the day u face them, u will regret not having a raptor at hand.
