but since you didn't know this i'd suggest you don't do it. overclocking is bad for your hardware when it's not done good.

Overclocking is hard aswell and it can be dangerous for ur hardware as told above.

if you overclock make sure you get a new cooler on it. becausse most videocard's already get pretty hot on a stock cooler.

try to get new drivers for you're videocard.
try to keep you're fans dust clean.

Edit: make sure you're pc is clean! if you have a trojan or whatever then this can greatly reduce you're performance ingame.

I bought for 400 $ PC with 22' LCD speed monster ! no problems with game my friend
if u gonna spend arround amount of cash u'll be fine too
