Ok so I just bought a new PC and I got vista bla bla. And using launcher is fine and logging in is fine, but when I select character and press enter, the screen will freeze before logging the char in. Then the effect data will take unusally long to load, whereas all the other parts takes 5-6seconds to load all together. And then when I get ingame, everytime I open anything ingame the screen will freeze for a few seconds. I dont understand why, because when I play I get 50FPS+, I got quad core 2.2ghz and Nvidia 8400 gfx card.

I know i'm a noob, can anyone help?

try disabling your antivir software

had same kind of problem once long time ago, norton checked every package ko sent so it freezed all the time

do you have any sort of anti virus on the computer?

Uninstall it all, you use redtube no point being scared of getting spyware.

Re-installed this shit 5 times and re-installed DirectX a few times.


And I dont use redtube anymore because it gave me 50 open ports. >.>

updated all video drivers ? btw i had the same problem and it was norton causing it so i /uninstalled that shit and it stopped doing it

I uninstalled norton, made my gfx card all the way to performance, reinstalled KO 3-4 times. ><

Only effect data loads slow, and then ingame when I open U or seed, my screen will freeze.
