Yeah sounds like your video card drivers went whacky.
If you try to install new drivers make sure you uninstall the old ones.
You can check to see if they are still installed and Uninstall this way:
1. Right-click My Computer --> Properties
2. Hardware Tab --> Device Manager
3. Expand Display Adapter
4. Open whatever driver&#39;s in that section(Right-click --> Properties). (If there is none there or there is no &#39;Display Adapter&#39; expandable field then it may be in an unknown hardware expandable field)

If the drivers aren&#39;t installed at all, it will most likely look like this:


If the drivers are installed it would look like this. Keep in mind that it&#39;s possible that they still might be corrupt, so at this point I would re-install them just to be safe:


5. To Uninstall the drivers after you&#39;ve opened your display adapter device properties, find the Drivers Tab and click Uninstall.
6. Restart and Install new drivers then restart your pc again

It would help this topic if you tell us what kind of computer... or some general details on your computer cause yes it does sound like a peace of shit
