    hello guys ...

    i have a problem ..
    can't open the game .. when i open it i find an strange error




    initialization
    ( Can't create D3D Device - please check DirectX or display card driver )

    what shall i do ?


    pc : downloaded directx and nothing happened =/



    help plx ;/

    Try this:

    Right click on your desktop...goto properties.

    Goto the Settings Tab and hit on advanced.

    Goto the Troubleshoot tab...and change the hardware acceleration to either or less or more...


    If this doesn't help be sure to write here what your computer specs are...especially your video card.

    You may have to check to see if your card works with Direct 3d using dxdiag.

    Yea, that was my first thoughts, but I looked on official KO forums to see if this error came up at all ever...and a few users reported that changing their hardware acceleration worked with no mentioning of Direct 3D settings.

    Anyhoot...may as elaborate a little on where you are going to look to check if Direct 3D is enabled...

    Start>Run...>dxdiag

    Choose "Display 1"

    You should see the option there. Also an option to "Test Direct 3D".

    If the test fails, your card may not be compatible, or it just needs updated drivers.
