Ethernet Drivers

I know I feel really stupid asking this question but it has been along time seance I have reformatted my computer. I was just wondering are the Ethernet drivers located inside of the graphics card drivers? Or are they located inside of the drivers for the motherboard? The card is not onboard or integrated and the motherboard is from MSI so there not like a dell or a gateway.

if you have a seperate ethernet card (it isnt inbuild in the mboard) the drivers will be seperate to all else, they are just like any other drivers

Oh okay thanks its built in and attached to the motherboard so therefore its the motherboard driver. Thanks pandragon didn't put those together till just about 2 seconds ago.
