KO freezing

when im around a lot of graphic effects, my game tends to freeze. then i gotta shut it down with WTM in order to play again.

this is annoying and it mostly happens in the new BDWs (stupid fires all over the map).

i usually have like 20fps+ or around that. using nvidia 8400gs (i used to have like 2x that amount of fps... thats another question)


so yea i wanna know how to fix this stuff, does anyone have a solution?

oh and i just got another fucking game freeze in the middle of bdw after getting tped with the purple animation.

Could possibly be your video card going bad. Reinstall your drivers and make sure you get the most up to date ones. Defrag your drives also. If that doesn't work i'd probably look into buying a new card.

Almost all players with invidia card have freez after new patch.
K2 put new engine? (anticheat system) :x We need new drivers...

I have a nvidia card and i don't have any problems so far. It may just be certain cards and/or certain drivers

I have ATI graphic card, never had problem, problem for me is the hackers in game :angry:

btw are u nvidia users or players in general have less fps lately?

cuz when i bought my vidcard i had like 40-48 fps near moradon arena, now i get 28-34 -_-

edit: yes i already cleaned it. maybe new drivers?

*Remove Drivers
*Reboot
*Download/Install new drivers
*reboot
*Download/Install Latest DirectX
*reboot

If the problem remains:

*Defrag disc
*reboot

Also, you mention 8400Gs. Gs are budget models of the GT cards.
You should always get a GT card. They are way more powerfull and usually cost like 20-30$ more.
Btw, what other parts u got?

i guess to just try to set your settings to the lowest you can.
i have a nvidia card from 2002 (128mb), and i get about 20-25 fps ingame.

maybe its because i play in 16 color setttings, llol

i have geforce 8600 gt and i have the same problem never had it b4 and not on private servers.

i use "number of effect" lowest setting, "focus distance" middle settings (cuz it would look too foggy lol)
