Luckily I know my way around the PC's :P

Corrupted host files are common files which become infected by viruses.

Deleting it will allow it to be recreated when PC is restarted, but I'd be tempted to run a spybot search first

Isnt it that his IP is blocked? My mate's ip gets blocked to sometimes hes from Belgium.. Almost the same ip as turkey :P

I had the same problem at school, the problem was that I was entering the website how I would at home, as ko4life.com, but when I tried www.ko4life.com it would work just fine

Seems pretty simple, but give it a try if your just typing in ko4life.com

It's a viable option, I think this is down to be how it's registered on the web, typing ko4life.com should force windows to add the www.l but it's always worth a try

If your IP is banned, you get a white screen when loading the website

sorry, too lazy to read the whole post, but try:

1. flushing dns ( start, run, type in cmd, type in ipconfig /flushdns)

2. clear internet temp folder, clear cache..
