FTP ERROR

everyone with vista has that problem so far..i use XP personally and works great..but i dont get why you guys keep gettin that error..

Me and a friend both have this problem on Vista laptops, on my XP it works fine O.o

I too have Vista and have tried everything I can think of, does anyone know, can you re-format and install XP instead?
