    I dont think window mode will make any difference, unless your graphic card has serious issues working in fullscreen.

    From what I know this happened right before my dual 9800GTs burned It was the cooling after all because the air couldn't flow properly through my computer (Front end fan jammed -.-')

    It might also be your motherboard, the PCI-E slot not functioning well or something wrong with BIOS settings.
