So basically, my old computer is a piece of shit. It had 250GB of memory, 512MB of ram, shitty graphics card, shitty everything. Anyways, I went out and bought a new computer. 6GB's of RAM, 1TB memory, Quad core processor 2.9ghz. So I was thinking to myself, I'm going to load into KO in like 3 seconds and have no lag and blah blah blah. But no. I load in just as slow as my other computer, and have the same lag spikes as my old computer.

Can anyone help me?

Im kinda sure it's your net.
(AMD seems to load faster than Intel-computers too)

Your internet connection should not affect your login speed.
How long does it usually take you to login to ko?

With my old computer, about 2-3 minutes. With my new computer, 2-3 minutes. And my internet has nothing to do with my login in. Nor does the lag I get in game.

i bet its your OS , mmmm ým výdent , you used a XP window on ur old computer(right?), and now you're using windows seven on your new computer ( wich is totally a fail tbh) , probably ur windows hasnt been set'ed up correctly that's why your OS isnt working "NORMALY" with your graphic card , that0s why ur ko doenst load quickly , even tho the first LOG always is lag.

whats ur graphic card , what ur OS ?

I'm using windows 7. On my old computer I was using Windows XP. And my graphics card is: ATI Radeon HD 4200.

Does this happend only with ko ? , have u ever tried other game , lagging too ?
i dont use windows seven so i can't help u out there , but for ur computer spec , u should use vista or seven , xp would be useless with these computer spec , have u tried to patch up ur ko with the fast loading from KOK ?

All my other games load really quick and I have almost no lag. It's just KO. And yeah, I downloaded the fast patch from KOK.

make sure to pass ko as exceptions thru all ur antivirus, and also go into properties of the launcher and the client itself and run as admin. it reduced some of the lag i was getting. and i run Windows 7, 8gig ram and ATI radeon as well

Yeah I know, I've done that. It's still not working.

Ran my whole computer for spyware, viruses, and anything and everything and cleaned my whole computer. I still get lag in game, it still takes me awhile to log in (Not as bad anymore)

I still don't know what it is that's making me lag in game and taking awhile to load in.

I timed my log in and it takes me 1:35 from me clicking on the icon on my desktop to being in game.

I now realize, my loading time isn't half bad. But I know it SHOULD be faster.
But it doesn't change the fact I still lag in game.
