What firewall and antivirus do you use, tried tidying up the hard drive with disk defragmenter ?

Go to a loading screen and check the exact times it's happening so you can also see if anything is happening in the events.

KO loads up some of data to memory. When you relog KO loads few seconds if you have enough ram memory. After you change location, memory should be cleared and new data should be load to memory. It looks that you have problem with memory refreshing cause the problem comes up when you change the location. Old data is not removed and you have to small ammount of ram to run KO with no lags. This is my opinion.
