Vista extract failed

So i got a new computer but sadly it has windows XP installed on it :S
so now everytime i try to download the patch thourgh the laucnher it reachs the end of the bar and says " EXTRACT FAILED"
know any way i can out come this?

If you are receiving the error “Extract Failed” By Your Launcher Do The Following
Go To

My Computer > C: (whatever drive KO is installed on commonly it’s this one) > Program Files > "Knight Online"

And Delete The Patch 15XX in this case.

Knight Online Lancher Will Automatically Re-Download The Patch From The FTP Server.

Please Repeat These Steps Several Times if it doesn’t work at first.


XX = Represents The Two Numbers After 15.

where is this 15XX located?
theres nothing in the KnightOnline folder. im currently manually downloading every single 1500 patch

The windows vista has many problems with KO, change WIN XP

Im Confused It Has Vista Or Xp On It?

Because If Its Vista You'll Need To Right Click On The Lancher > Run As Admin > Should Work.

oh fuck yeah my bad
It has Vista on it!!!

and i am aldready adminstrator
i would change to xp but the GC runs only with DX10

so yeah its still not working keeps saying extract failed
and yes i downloadded the patches from kodb info. com

right click knight online icon and click run as administrator i was haveing same problem whe i got vista and you will have to click run as administrator every time you play
