how to unblock ftp sites

and how i can unblock them

1 - Your friends ISP doesn't allow FTP (which I doubt) - typically port 21 if I remember
2 - The port is blocked by your friends router (most likely)
3 - If it's just the FTP Knightonline site, what's the error ?

When you launch the launcher and it says something like "failed connecting to update server (1), then (2) , etc". From what I remember, the servers are normally just busy and it's a case of try them later.

I've got the patches manually if you need em.

The most likely answer is that your router is firewalling the FTP requests from the server to initiate the connection.

in IE6: (don't have IE7 to give exact instructions, but it should be fairly similar)

Right click on the IE icon on the desktop and select properties.
Go to the advanced tab
Right near the end of the Browsing Category, look for "Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatability)"

Turn that option ON.

Then try your FTP request again...

ftp://download.knightonlineworld.com/knight/upgrade
