    Default Xtrap ERROR- [10-0300-00002EFD-001]

for the past week i have gotten this error on my 2nd computer.. My main comp has had no problems running ko at all..

I keep getting ERROR- [10-0300-00002EFD-001] the game security module update has failed.

    I have tried-
    ipconfig /flushdns
    deleting xtrap folder
    un-installing, re-installing KO
modifing server .ini file to get the ko to get at least an update screen so it would stop giving me the ftp.download.knightonlineworld.com error

I have also done plently of shut downs, restarts on the computer.

any help would be good here. Also if anyone have the link to manualy download patches for ko or xtrap please post them

    Thank you

Same thing happened to me. This is how I fixed it. I had to disable my firewall and then initiate the game launch, at which point it was able to update. Hope this might help ya out.

    1st option.
    Start>Run>cmd
Ipconfig /flushdns (spam it a couple times
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
Make sure internet explorer is NOT on work offline.

    2nd option.
    Delete xtrap folder.

3rd option, create new xtrap folder. download xtrap files from
    ftp://download.knightonlineworld.com
    Restart.

    4th Option
Check your firewall, open your ports correctly.

    5th option.
    Reinstall

    6th option
    Reboot>reinstall

    7th option.
    Shoot yourself.
