New Pc => problem with KO

Hi all,

I bought a new computer (windows 7). Download Ko from official website, and install it. I downloasd patch normaly.

But when i lauch the game i have 2 problems :

-Ads at the begining ( K2 Network, Mgame, present, Knight online) run very fastly.
-When i make my ID and Pass, press ENTER, i'm always disconect ! ( I try other acount and it's same)
=>if i clic with mouse on OK, i have message : "Failed logging into the logIn server server. (10038)"

i see today a patch for blue screen error, but it's not my problem. i have no blue screen after being DC


What's the problem ? how can i solve it ?

speed hack problem....

might be the same problem as stated in this topic (but i believe it was for the ko4life server though). Schrotti posted the solution.

Just change your affinity to 1 core rather than 2 when playing KO. To do so, open up the task manager (after starting whatever KO client you use) head to the process tab, rightclick KnightOnline.exe -> set affinity -> Tick CPU0, untick CPU1.

Note, you'll have to do it everytime you run KO.

if it doesn't work then I have no idea :/

hum, it seems like the same problem, i'm agree, i have 4 core processor. But i can't do the tip you gave me becaue there isn't knightonline.exe in task manager. i think KO release it for stop multi client.

Is there any thing to do for see knightonline.exe in task manager ?

for first in windows 7 you need "run as adminstartor"
and i think he already help you
btw i got windows 7 to and new pc
i dont had thats problem never ... :S

i had 7 on my old PC too, and never had any problem, but i think the 4 core processor is too strong for KO.

if you can't connect to the login server, try pinging it and see what you get:
in the command prompt, type:

New Pc => problem with KO - Snoxd Network

your a snoxd hacker huh?

reason found was i got windows 7 and had a problem like this when googled it showed your topic in snoxd and in ko4life i was like hmm snoxd i have heard that place before and bam same exact words and video lmao pathetic people like you ruin this game.

2 give conformity with windows xp
3 when you run ko give use with administrator

KO doesnt support 2 or 4 core processor. It always uses 1 processor which sucks.
