Laptops aint made for gaming. Only gg gaming laptops i know are alienware. Or dell gaming laptop.

Alienware is frgn expensive cus you pay like 30% for the name[/b]
no shit talk x.x
this laptop handles most games better than most pcs

laptop are all about money, pay much = receive much
with desktops you can get the same specs but much cheaper

so shit like laptop arent made for gaming, every laptop, from w/e maker are able to play games, its just a higher price you gotta pay than a desktop
stop being over run by the fanboys and haters and get ur own oppinion, you'll be suprised how much a laptop is exactly the same as a desktop these days

Exactly. Pay more for a laptop for same stats as pc. Use the money you got for laptop and buy a better pc from it.

So basically pc's are better for gaming money wise

yea money wise only...
besides the difference in specs between a laptop from 1k and a pc from 1k will not make much difference for people like us.

thought i found a very good website but it turns out their laptops suck ass <_<

http://www.computertrends.com/homepage.asp maybe they get some better ones in the future. it's worth looking at because it has 0% payment financing and it's from canada. but their laptops aren't what you'd call gaming laptops.

I think I found what you are looking for, they offer a type of payment plan but you have to be approved for it and they ship to Canada.

Best of all you can customize the laptop a bit to fit your needs better just play around with the setting and other laptop models till you find something you like.

My brother has a desktop PC from them and it works fine ^_^

Site: http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/c...r.aspx?mid=321

Your BIG problem is that you want a payment plan that doesn't exist so the "Bill Me Later" option is your only choice unless you get a credit card.

Check this out:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834220516

ASUS M70 Series M70Vn-D1 Intel Core 2 Duo T9550(2.66GHz) 17.0" Wide UXGA 4GB Memory 640GB HDD BD Combo NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GT NoteBook - Retail
Part#: 90N-ST0A8732FN8KQL0Y
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit
CPU Type: Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 2.66G
Screen: 17" WUXGA
Memory Size: 4GB
Hard Disk: 640GB
Optical Drive: BD Combo
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GT

It would be a kick-ass desktop replacement gaming machine with a price of 1900usd. I really like ASUS laptops. They are not as famous as other brands, but they make motherboards that are found in many of the other brands.

Or just browse here for other great 17 inch laptops
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...Core%202%20Duo
some of the open-box specials are a great deal.

I agree with what someone above said that for me a laptop is better with a smaller screen so it is more portable. Ive been playing ko for 3 years on this 13in asus laptop (core2duo, nvidia geforce 7700, win xp, 2gb ram (ive been meaning to get more ram but havent seen the need)) and its been great. I get 60+ frame rate so no problem on graphics side. And i can plug it into the many monitiors and tvs in my house when i want to (hdmi, vga, svhs outs).

a good gaming laptop does not compare at all to a good gaming desktop. If you want portability get a laptop, if you want to play games, get a desktop. If you want both, pay out of the ass for a better laptop. I spent 1200 on my laptop and my $800 desktop kicks its ass in everything.
