internet connection continuesly drops

every 20 seconds to a minute the internet connect on both my wirless laptop and pc, the pc which is hardwired to the modem stays connected fine. i have tryed uninstaling the connections rebooting the modem and router, repairing the connections and i still haven't found out why its doin this any assistence woudl be great
