Virus called 'XP Police'

Its a fake anti virus program... no idea how it got onto my laptop.

AVG cant find it and im lost for ideas. It disables me form using task manager etc..

any1 have a idea on how to get rid of it?

try booting up in safe mode, maybe you will be able to use your task manager there.

Do you know where it is in your HD?

Google&Download Process Explorer
its basically the same thing as task manager, then search for something in process that looks suspicious.
Also take a look through your start-up folder

avg kinda blows nuts. well it&#39;s free, so you get what u pay for. Try spending the extra 45 bucks for a year of Trend Micro.

If i were you, i&#39;d reboot to safe mode, unistall AVG. Istall the 30 day trial version of Trend Micro
