I only get that when the software on the kids pc blocks ko from accessing the pc. I restart my virus software and itasks me if I should allow it. I say yes and it works. This has happened a few times on their pc.

Hmm same as me. When I had this problem, I made sure my firewall was letting it go through, and you did the same. I also had to add Xtrap, and all other KO files that try to connect to Internet to Data Execution Prevention.

If you haven't tried this do:
    > Right click My Computer
    > Properties
    > Advanced
    > In Performance, click Settings
    > Data Execution Tab
    > Click Add... button

    Then browse in C:Program FilesKnightOnline

And choose Xtrap's exe, Knight Online's exe, launcher exe, then click Apply, and OK.

Try playing now, I don't know if this will fix your problem, but after I did this, it fixed that message from popping up. Hopefully will work for you goodluck.

Do you have XP, and service pack 2? I don't know if this works with anything else.

You just right click 'My Computer"
    Click "Properties"
    and click "Advanced" tab
Then where it says "Performance" next to that click "Settings"
and you should see "Data Execution Prevention" tab

    Hmm, try this:

    Press ALT+TAB+DELETE
    Go to processes
    Look for : nsvcAppfit.exe
Close that program ( If it exists ) and try to start game now.

EDIT: One more solution try flushing your DNS cache like this:

    Start -> RUN -> cmd
    Type in this : ipconfig/flushdns
Then hit enter, and try, if it doesn't work, try shutting down computer first, then flush DNS. Hope something works  .

    Lol, it's ok.

In run, just try typing "Command", then the prompt should popup, then type "ipconfig/flushdns"

    see if that works.
