lol @ the above posters... Alienware products are expensive, that's for sure... But crap?

They're from high quality chassis, have a quality build (not that factory made putted together piece of shits), crazy ventilation system, high quality hard ware, great costumer support, crazy add ons on the pc. It is defitnatly worth all the money you put in it.

But just look at Dell.com website. There are some nice pre-builds pc on.

lol at you. There costumer support is shit just like dell because dell owns them. Every pc company uses the same hardware, and there add ons don't do jack shit. You obviusoly dont know what a good cooling system is too if you think alienwares is good, But if you want to waste your money go ahead. There are far better prebuilt pc companies to buy from.

If you get the basic package, then yea sure you're gonna get crap CS. Pay an extra 300 bucks and you get a 3 year service with a new laptop send within a week if yours is broken or any other malfunction.

Besides the laptops I see on that website are also in the price range of Alienware if you get the same specs... Didn't look at the desktops and could care less..
Hardware the same? Maybe... They come from the same suplier/factory? Doubt so. Alienware buys from high quality companies. And puts them together very nicely which you hardly see in any company. Most of the time it's quickly putted together to decrease work hours and save moeny.

Yeah the laptops should be about the same since everyone uses Clevo chassis. No ones builds there own laptop they only modify the chassis
