    don't alt + tab ?

when your computer freezes when you alt+tab that just means it isn't good enough to handle the game and something else at the same time.

It may be related to the shared memory on the vid chip. Try disabling it, as the 256 mb on the card should be enough. Or alternatley, buy 2 more MB RAM (ram is usually very inexpensive these days). Having only 2MB RAM, where 1MB is shared for video, is definitely not enough for the os and graphic intensive games (or to run vista ) Good luck and hope it helps.

KO only uses a single processor (or single core). So any dual core machine isn't going to have an issue if you Alt-Tab or have another app running.

Shared graphics memory might be an issue, as previously mentioned.

If you have any unusual themes turned on, try going back to default ones.
