if you format try running tinyXP or something. there are loads of stripped down versions of xp and vista that are made for better performance on old computers and bad laptops.

Using it for one year, everything its ok, before i have mega lags - screen freeze in game because of low pc,
With game xp my pc working 25% faster. (but still bad :x)
Ask Seba he using it too.

In my opinion if you have old notebook, do not instal this program.
Old notebooks were creat for work not for games. Your windmill can blow up.

This program should help too, its fixing register problems = windows working faster.

    RegCure

Im going to test this software.

Don't go with the phenom. They are slightly sheaper than the core 2 duo but they are slower and less refined. The GTX260 video card is an excellent value and well worth spending a little extra, however, your first choice for PC parts would make a much more stable system, 460w PSU wont be able to handle the gtx260 and all of your components very well, I'd suggest no lower than 600w.

I paid 700 for my comp steve, dont know specifics but its 4gig ram (xp 32bit picks up 3.5gig) Intel E8400 Dual Core 3.0Ghz, 9800GTX+ 512mb, and some gaming case. And i found the 9800 GTX + runs better than the GTS 250. So keep looking, and if ur only using ur comp for KO u can get somthing together for around 500$ ish..

Dunno if I have old or new notebook ... imo it's old ... but still it has 1.7GHz (single core:P) and 512MB RAM with some shit Intel's integrated graphic card :P

gonna check it anyway ... I think it can't be worse :P

    edit:
you right-click on Luncher.exe and select "Start High Priority" ? or just warp speed?
