i just installed ko again and im laggy as hell with my 3.5fps
i played ko over 2 years without problems so dunno what this is
so im hoping u guys can help me

better graphics card..lol or try system properties advanced and lower by one or two pegs your hardware accelerator

i didnt told you guys that i played ko for more than 2 years without any problems? i know my graphic card sucks (ati 9200 series), but it has to be good enough to play ko
the card's performance should be ok, i assume that u reinstalled ko after windows reinstalation, in this case get new drivers for ur graphic card. Check if there are any processes using cpu's power (spyware/adware etc. get rid of them). You should also see settings in the game, lower resolution or details... give some more details so we can help u better.

Dirty cpu fan.
Dirty video card fan.
Failing memory modules.
The newest drivers for your video card might not be the best to use go back to the drivers that origanly came with the video card.
Your video card could be failing(Getting Old).
Try to increase your memory, with every patch ko releases knightonline.exe uses more memory.
Make sure there isnt any cpu intensive programs running in the background.
My son plays Ko very well on a
Amd 1600+
ATI 8500
512Mb DDR PC 2700
His game runs just as well as mine.
Turn off Fraps?

i reinstalled my windows... installed the graphic card drivers i have on cd and downloaded the latest drivers
my fps is now round 6-15 (thats without any programs on and with normal resolution)
i can play with that but...
its just that i dont know how it comes that im having this kind of lag while i played before without the latest graphic card drivers, with mediaplayer, ventrilo and other programs on the background
