For those of you who dont know this.

The slowest thing in your computer/laptop is your HARDDRIVE. You can get the fastest proc/most memory/best vid card. But if your hard disk sucks, so does the rest of the system. Listen to your harddisk when you load KO...then you'll see what im talking about.

omg i just bought 1.0ram of memory. total i have 1.5 ram i load into ko much faster. usually 10 seconds.

Yeah... just get 2gb ram and at least a HD with 7200rpm and 300mb/s and ull be fine

All i know is that i used to load in 5-10 seconds and now it usually takes from 2 to 8 minutes. Same laptop. Funny thing is, randomly, now and then it loads in 5 seconds.
The basic diference is the hard drive usage. Used to be around 30%, it's now at least 90% full and shitloads os services running.
