Havn't played in a while but now when I start up KO i get



I don't use cheats on this game as most of you will know. So what does it mean?

it is called false positive. It happens, it sucks. xfire was writing in korean so good luck finding the manual on what it means.

Look for any programs to do remotly with KO...

or just reinstall it

Try flushing your IE cookies and cache. Then go into IE content and delete everything you can.

i deleted everything in cookies but i still get the same error , and what type of program would be consider similar to a hack strings?

Try search ur pc for *.mal files. I had the same issue with *.api files, which were acrobat reader extensions, I deleted them and I could log in after. h43r:

If i could tell you, then I could get arround xfire. But that is not the case thus, all I give you tool to see what files xfire checks.

After you open firemon, go to filter and under include change from "*" to "xfire.exe;knightonline.exe". Run KE, go to the point where it exits. Then check the log. Look for any files that is questional. Remove those files 1 at a time. Careful not the actually delete them. Name change is generally enough or moving to trash bin. I normally "explore.exe" ==> "explore.exe.old".

Oh before you go on filewitch hunt, make sure all process you have are non debuging tools. Run taskmgr.exe => Processes. Know all the nonsystem processes running. If they are not need then kill them. If you don't know what they do, google it.
