MultiClienting with KO

so i have windows 7 64 bit and i have a problem with multiclienting. i haven't played ko n years so i dunno if its windows 7 or the new patches into the game. but before i use to be able to play counterstrike while merchating on ko or w/e. It still works but theres a problem getting b n ko.

Example: i open ko client and go mine for ore. then i tab out and open warcraft 3 to play dota or w/e. When tab b to KO, nothing happens but when i click, the cursor turns to KO cursor, which means KO still running but the games just not showing up.
