dc before ko is done loading

I was a frequent knight online player and i always played it on this pc.
about 1 year ago i stopped playing..
well,, recently i was thinking bout coming back, but there's 1 problem
i installed the whole game and got all the patches.
it starts perfectly fine, i select a char and it starts loading.
here comes the problem: the loading takes very long, like twice as long as it used too, and right after loading "character data" i just dc.
so yea,, i cant get past that screen..

any1 an idea how i can solve this little problem?
it has to be my pc because on my laptop it works great (loading there takes 5 seconds, on this pc it takes more like 5 minutes).
but i could play ko on here 1 year ago, so why cant i now?

hmm never heard of it, ill take a look tho.

edit: i found it on the official site but they deleted the file so i can't download it..

I was searching around in KO and I looked at FAQ theres what it said...

Q: When I try to connect with one of my characters, I get disconnected every time.

A: This character has been blocked. If you feel that this was done in error, please submit a support request under "Blocked Accounts".

Get the fastloading patch from www.kingofknight.com.

That worked for me.
