    Any idea why this may have happened? i could use my mic just fine just 1 day maybe something got configurated wrong... anyone has experienced this? or has any idea what i can do to fix it?

    cheap mics last for 2 days then break

    your mic is dead, unless you changed some configurations or maybe u disconnected it by accident pulling on it ?

    Select it as the default recording device, maybe its not.

    No, the mics work fine in my dad&#39;s pc so what can it be?

    ask yourself what did you do?

    MAYBE MUTE on vent. I pused that shit 100 times didnt even realize it, also check the MIC volume on the speakers.

    I cant record in my windows recorder.. its not that i didnt do anything.. i think it didnt work even before i cleaned myhardware

    if youre running windows XP
    go to start>programs>accessories>entertainment>volume control
    one of the controls will say Mic lol
    check if thats muted, or if its volume is all the way down, that could be it, i normally mute my mic and if its muted the things you posted happen

    mute box isnt checked?
    also make sure its plugged into the right input on your computer xD
    ive done that before >_<

    idk now im just suggesting things
    also
    if you have a PCI sound card make sure your mic isnt plugged into the integrated one?
    you never know man xD!
