Problems since xtrap was implemented

Hello all

its my first post here altough i visit ko4life for some time now.

I play Ko for a year now, i am a premium user and since last patch i didnt have any kind of problems with game stability

Since xtrap was implemented i had problem... a msg box informing me "Speedhack program detected (Malhack) program will be close".and auto log off from game

i never used 3rd party tools ,hacks or any kind of cheats with this game


so i ran an antivirus check with Kapersky ,addware and spyware doctor...nothing...all clean from any kind of hacking tool,keyloggers,worms or trojans

i reformated HD and i currently have only KO installed along with antivirus firewall and nothing more running on background except system processes...

Same thing is happening.

does someone have a solution for my problem?

Anyways, try checking what programms ur running

I also got some strange message yesterday when I loaded my game. Something about a memory hack, wtf. Anyway, this new program alerts my antivirus and I can't run the game till I disable my antivirus. Not a big deal though still normally I disable everything.

i just find this so wierd...i am trying to fix this problem for a week now.
I spend like 6 hours testing stuff... with no significant results

Nothing strange there.

Try and run kol without any aplication running.Firewalls are not recomended for personal
users unless you really know how to setup them , also they alter information received from kol severs wich might be interpreted as third party tools.

Things I've noticed with Xtrap:

1) SPEEDHACK message comes up when:
[list]Domain controller (DC) adjusts PC time to match time on the DC
McAfee Virus scan does an auto-update[list]

2) 3RD PARTY TOOLS message comes up when:
[list]

3) Xtrap takes like 5 mins to load if it can't complete a tracert to the servers.

Most people wouldn't be affected by a DC time change or wscript running, but McAfee auto-updating is a real pain in the arse.

how can i find out if im affected by this?

i notice that i can only be connected for 30 minutes...

so it must be a 30 minutes trigger or something thats firing in my pc ...and i want to check out this dc time problem

any sugestions?
