Default Need help in computer building

I want to buy a desk PC.

I use my laptop for work and only KO. Its an Acer aspire 5530 (AMD X2 1.9GHz; 2GB RAM; ATI Mobility Radeon HD3200 256MB), which is almost ok for KO, only during wars and gangbang situations i get lower frame per sec rates.

Since our flat is almost ready, i decided to buy a desk PC. I have like 400$ to spend on it (dont count for monitor, keyboard etc, i can get them for free from my father:P)

    So requirements (:P):
-KO + video recorder + ventrillo + music without lag
    -office applications for work
    -movies etc

What kind of builds do u suggest to me?

with that bugdge you will be able to buy a decent mainboard and microproccesor , but you wont be able to buy a good video card wich is important for your fp's , anyways i'll put a personal advice.

microproccesor: INTEL CORE 2 QUAD CPU Q6600 2.4GHz + cooler master hyper 212

mainboard: mainboard GYGABYTE EP35C-DS3R "supports" DDR3

they're like 390 usd in my country (peru) but they would be cheaper on your country tho , i got a similar spects + with my vid car i got 150-200fps(wich costed me 260$) at usko.

if you're wonder my video card is Gigabyte Ati Radeon HD 6850 1GB GDDR5.

i'd take the first pc but add 4gb ram instead since ur not whilling to pay alot. It is good enough for ko.

I'd rather have more ram than a better cpu

-RAM - You have to get atleast 4~8gb ram , I am using 4 atm and everything is okey.
-Proccesor - If you can buy some proccesor like Core I7/I3/I5 or some CORE 2 QUAD, for example
CORE 2 QUAD CPU Q6600 2.4GHz it can to be awesome.
-Video Card - ‏HD 5850 1GB GDDR5 DX11 2xDVI HDMI DP PCI-E‎ - can to be awesome for u also it will work gg on other games , for now you can run all the newest games with this video card on very high
-Hard Disc - You can make ur choice about it , If you nee alot of storage for files etc.. I think some Hard disc with 640 GB can to be enough for you , but hard disc isn't the problem here.

heres what I would recommend although your builds are decent the second build you posted would be best. However dont go cheap on a powersupply also case cooling is very important so consider a good case. This is what I do for a living and a little something I put together. Can always go with a 5770 for a bit more.

    Grand Total: $514.01 - 40.00 rebates
