KO Freezes any idea why?

Well I used to play on laptop for a longg time which was core duo 2000 mhz processor with 2giga memory and 512mb graphic card and ko was freezing and I thought its cos my config is low or cos its not designed for games.
But now I bought new pc 3.7 amd quad core 4giga memory and ati 5770 1024mb graphic card. When I am not in action my fps hits 170 but when I go in action it fals to 60 -80 which is ok for me
My problem is between these fps changes my pc freezes for 2 3 sec which makes me mad when I am after some1 its freezes and I lose frag.

Any idea how to fix that?

I had the same problem for about a year, but after changing from winXP to 7 problem was solved.

I had the same problem,
and the problem for was, alot of missing patches.
Check this link:

(as you can see, the version of this client is v1.708)

And check this too:

(the version of this client is v1.800 , and this is the working one!)

So, if you download the v.1.708, it download all pathes normally, but
when you later are trying to play, you get lags, freezes etc.
