    Default New Laptop

    Hi KO4life community!

I am currently looking for a new laptop (for school and playing KO and bf3) and I need your help to find the best one!
The computer doesn't have to run bf3 on extreme but high is preferable.
Since the computer is mainly used for school use (and I have to bike 18kms with it everyday) it needs to be somewhat light-weight, i'd prefer if it weights MAXIMUM 4kgs.

The computer must be a 15 inch.

The budget is around 2k usd.

I hope some of you has some suggestions

I got the same one a few months ago also! Intel i7 @ 2.2 Ghz, Nvidia GTX 570m gfx with 12gb ram. Really one of the best gaming laptops on the market at the moment. I have the one with the backlight keyboard that can be changed to any color combination you want really with some cool effects. Playing KO it doesn't make much noise at all, but when I play higher gfx demanding games I turn on the fans cooler boost, which can be a little loud. It is 17+ inches screen though, if you really want a 15 inch screen... but I don't mind it at all and actually like the large screen size.

There's only 1 thing that pissed me off with this laptop. I bought the warranty, and it advertised it can hold upto 16gb of ram, so I was thinking I'd be able to throw in another 4gb ram card, but I found out if I want to upgrade at all I would void the warranty by tampering with the sticker they put on the back. Oh well really, like 12 to 16gb of ram would really be needed anyways.

you would be able to play bf3 on high resolution without any lags tho, about ko i wouldnt worry at all ^^
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M - Notebookcheck.net Tech a little overview how good the graphic card actualy is.

dunno about that laptop but mine got a kinda big and heavy power supply, so i would recommend to check some unboxing first.
