Patcher Locking Up

Ok, I went to kodb and saw that the servers are up. I started the patcher and it just stays on the message, "Checking Version And Preparing To Launch Game". It loads the advertisement, but it doesnt go any further than that. Anyone experiencing the same problem or have a fix?

Just close it and start again . It just freezes sometimes...
