    Intel> AMD... always

Intel runs so much smoother, and they have better performance...

Intel = Italian stallion with a firefighter helmet
    AMD = jewish goat

like i told him, they will allmost have same performance,
but intel will be (little)faster, more OC'able(altough he doesn't wants to OC it, but it's one of the best OC'able proccessors), intel consumes less electricity(he doesn't care about it since his pc won't stay on for long), and the intell will have a lower temperature since it's 65W while AMD is 125W,
but well his system his choice

I'd change graphic card for ATI HD 4850 or 4870.

Also pay attention to power supplier ,even with fastest CPU and G-card and shitty power supplier your Pc will cash like 10 years old machine.

Take Tagan, Chieftec with 450 W+

u should rather ask if u can swap the 8600 with the 9600 bcz u will get way more fps with it,
ddr3>ddr2, if u are going to play any other games than ko ofc.
I'd also go for the 2nd pc,
    e8400 pwns ass, 4x333mHz bus speed ftw[/b]
8600 and 9600 wont make that much of a diffrence
you gotta look at the second number, the first numbre is the year it came out
    8600: came out in 200"8"
Allso 8600 with 1gb will give you more fps if you got a big screen, so if you got a normal 19" or so, its not needed to get 1gb

So actually both choises of Graphic cards suck
get yourself atleast a 8800, otherwise you'll need to buy an other 1 in the next 1-2 years
    I would recommend 8800GT 512Mb (GT / GTS / GTX or 9800)

The Intel 8400 is a good choise aswell,
Its a good CPU, some friends of me have it and they're really happy with it.

Allso i dont know why you need 4SATA connections, seeing you allready can connect 2 HDD on 1 "satawire" (Master & Slave)
so i highly doubt you have 8HDD you wanne connect.
Allso i dont like Hitachi as brand for my HDD, we had 1 b4 and it sucked
Imo i would say Wester Digital is a really great choise to go with for your HDD's.

So i wouldn't buy 1 of them honestly
Just configure you'r PC and buy the parts seperarly (?) and put it together yourself,
    then you can choose yourself

i know that the 9600 or 8600 aint the best g-cards,
but if u compare those 2,9600 kicks 8600 his ass big time, believe me.
go and look at benchmark results with 3d mark or something.
9600GT has only got few fps less than a 8800GT but like i said i only wrote about the 8600 and 9600...
nd samsung spinpoint as hdd is pwn
