Ventrilo problem

Ok so heres my problem, whenever i try loging in servers that arnt from my country i always see connecting and it doesnt go in, sometimes it dc's and says 10 - 9 etc for reconnect, and sometimes it goes to the part where its in but cant see ping nor see the players and all the rooms.
can anyone help me with this fast plz?

check if ur windows firewall is blocking anything in/out going.
Also find out the port that the ventrilo server ur trying to connect to uses. and forward it on ur router, this might help.

i disabled my firewall and still doesnt work.
