no sound coming from the internet in winamp problem

Im using Windows Xp
there is no sound coming from the internet, video plays but audio doesnt. i tried with firefox n explorer is the same result. its not how i plug in the plug because its not n the blue but n the green plug. wats weird is tat itunes n windows media player still works but winamp doesnt. winamp stop working the same time the internet stop playing sound. i get this message with winamp.

i unintalled my sound car and reinstalled it. the result is the same. plz help me on this issue.

i heard its not necessary to update any sound driver.
