Laptop I am thinking about buying, do you think this laptop would have enough FPS to run fraps smoothly without lag? Also do you think this computer will have good FPS (75+) and load up fast and stuff.

Please just post your answer and please dont move, no one ever checks the tech support forum area

yes it does

They provided irrelevant information. The most expensive part of a computer is the graphic card and it is not listed there. You can upgrade your processor speed, ram, harddrive, dvd drive for less than 300 dollars.

What they do when they know it is a horrible graphic card is is they provide a vague discription of the graphic card in the summary. Read the summary and we know it is a NVIDIA Geforce graphic card, however which one? The rule of thumb is if it is not listed, it is terrible.

For KnightOnline that will run great...seems expensive but as far as your question, yeah it will work.

clearly u cant read because if u go to specs, it tells u everything about it including the description of the video card, and its a nvidia geforce 9500 GS, read under video output in specs if u want

$1,529.00

Core 2 Duo T8100 / 2.1 GHz
RAM 4 GB
HDD 320 GB
18.4" Widescreen TFT 1920 x 1080
GF 9500M GS (i dont know alot about laptop graphics cards, but the geforce 9000 series is fairly new and runs a litle bit faster and consumes less energy than the 8000 series)

that stats are really good for a laptop.. but it is really expensive

imo, for that much, you could easily build a desktop with even better stats for probly 1k
then buy a decent laptop for school, w/e for 500$

that way if you drop it, or if someone steals it, or if your fat sister sits on it ( happened the first week i got it <_< ) you wont be out so much money

edit: i have a 6 year old laptop, i dont even know the stats on it, but it has like, 40 gb hard drive, and it can still load KO (granted the frame rate is awful, but is still usefull for camping atilla or w/e)

if u buy a laptop less than 900$ the graphics and some things don't will support some games very well. save a lil bit mroe and buy other with better characteristics

clearly i can read because i am reading your post. I think you meant clearly you didn't read, but thats okay.

anyways, get a computer with a better graphic card if you are willing to pay that price. A NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GS is a low mid end middle class graphic card. I can even go ahead and say it is worse than a NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GS even being in a higher series (in terms of gaming). You will be able to play Knight Online, but you will get less frames in games such as Call of Duty 2.

If you don't believe me check reviews.

Also get a computer that offers waranty included. Computer parts tend to die faster when you play lots of games.

In the three years that I've had my laptop, I've had to change my mother board 7 times, my lcd 4 times, keyboard 9 times, video card sound card 2 times. Granted most of the times I faked the problems but waranty is good.

imo no laptop is good for KO, from my university we got free laptops that got simular specs as that laptop, but trust me it will go low fps alot, laptops just aint designed for playing game on, tbh
