Need some help please.

I just redownloaded and installed KO, I try to start the game and Xcrap keeps giving me this error. CODE_FIELD [F1-0300-0000002-007] The game cannot run properly. I have used the search button and can't find anything that solves this problem, does anyone know of a solution? Thanks.

Go to your Knight Online folder and delete XTrap folder... See if that works.

Tried that, it ends in the same result.

1) so simple Open My computer from start menu.

2) copy this into the top part C:\Program Files\Knight Online\XTrap and select all then press delete.

3) next step copy C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc this and open host in notepad select all again and delete.

4) then open knight online via launcher and tada game starts.[/b]

Could I possibly be missing a file from when i reinstalled? Instead of it saying update complete it now looks like it is writtin in chinese or something :/

Try ctrl alt del, and go to proces and close everything thats working under you're user name.
Do not close the programs that you use to run windows.

I always close programs that aren't needed, doesn't help any with this error.

try some reg-cleaners ... like .. uninstall - delete every registry entry that belongs to KO (u also can search by yourself, works too but takes some time)

and reinstall ... just a guess though

I have reinstalled it 5 times now and even redownloaded it 2 or 3 times. Everything ends up with the same result..error.

Ok you can try this:
1.- Download the patch 1517 for the FTP address
2.- Install the patch
3.-o to Knight folder and option press save change and ok
4.- delete tthe Xtrap folder
5.- go C:/windows/system32/driver/etc/hosts . select all and delete, save the change.
6.- Press Right click on the shortcut of KO and you can see compatibility
7.- change the compatibility to windows 2000, this is win95 default
8.- enter KO via launcher.
9.- Play
