I have bad frame rate...

This is a discussion on I have bad frame rate... within the Tech Support forums, part of the Knight Online (ko4life.com) category; 10 fps so what should i do. i turn everything down but it only goes to 12 fps. im trying ...

    so what should i do. i turn everything down but it only goes to 12 fps.

    im trying to put the graphics to low. but whenever i load it up it shows it normally.

    is there something i can do to boost my fps? besides getting a new comp

    ur ram is so low.... mine is dual 1 gig =O.. i think its ur ram problem, everything else seems fine

    ram is too expensive >.< next time i can prob get it is christmas or something >.> the only one thats compatible w/ my computer and is better is a 1 gig that costs $115

    if you have a 512mb ram stick you will need to buy a 512mb ramstick has to match, also they are cheap.
    Imo i think its a combination of your ram and possibly the processor. Or even your internet connection.

    maybe im close i dunno :P

    buy a 512mb ram or a 1g and your computer will run like it&#39;s on high

    Lol i have 256 ram ^^ i would buy another one but its fine for KO and i wont spend money for a game cuz everything else loads perfectly too

    Get rid of that piece of shit, get an x1500 at least, and if you going for nvidia avoid at all costs the "TURBOCACHE" editions they just plain suck, yeah 7600 GS is a nice card, and btw the ram is fine, what ram does is it caches all info from ur hardrive so its ready (fast relogs), it doesnt play a major role in fps. If you want a cheap solution, backup everything and format your hardrive (As Devile said before, its a good practice to format your hardrive every 2 months or so)

    it came with my computer :X and to the guy who told me to buy 512 ram... theres no computer with exactly 512 ram. mine was bought saying it was. i uploaded my computer rig to xfire and it gave me my info


    any way to speed up my video card. or something? im getting max fps with visibility to the lowest in-game xD

    mm the only thing u can do is buy a better one... most of the time the video cards that come with computers are pretty crappy unless its a gaming pc xD

    Ram is NOT expensive... its the cheapest to buy to upgrade ur computer for sure.

    Well i&#39;m a kid 15 yrs old. cant get a job yet. the only way i can get money is babysitting rofl... well. theres only 2 ram thats 1gb and works w/ my pc and those are $115,$130. Can&#39;t rly afford it. I spent all my money on my wii, controllers, and games >.<

    AND OMG. I fixed most of my problem. NEVER USE XFIRE >.< i have 18 fps now with it off
