I was jc if anyone had some insight of specific anti-virus / firewall protection software that's compatible with Windows XP SP 2.. i've been running without any protection for a WHILE now, and i really don't like that feeling. I mean i know there's always McAffee and Norton, etc.. but i didn't know if maybe there were some other types out there that you guys find to be better suited to online gaming protection.

Basically, i'm looking for something that provides good proctection / virus scans (i don't need anything stupendous) and is of reasonable cost range (not really the cheapest, but the best i can get without dropping a really large sum).

Also, the one last stipulation is that i'd like to know how you find that software to handle KO / online gaming. I ask this because i've run into issues in the past with McAffee where it completely fucks up online gaming / connections.. so yeap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Kaspersky or NOD32 are best for gaming.
