Running KO Under Linux

    And if it does, how?

    If it works just through wine I would like to know that as well. Haven't tried wine since I don't have KO installation file and I don't want to download it until I'm sure it will work.

    BTW, Got Ubuntu 8.04.

    It doesnt work

    Just make a partition for windows xp of about 8 gig

    it works if you can bypass xtrap (using illegal software)

    so the easiest way is to make a windows partition like mammlea2 said

    KnightOnline.exe isn't the issue, it's X-Crap. If you can bypass it like others mentioned you should have no problem running it on Linux.

    The hasstle and risk you would need to run KO on Lynux is not worth it.

    On linux u can run only clients for privates servers. Now i tested ko with new patch . Now i can log on , and chose server . If i click to connect , clinet crashed :-( ( i dont know why ) ,
    here is screns :









    "work" on Debian leny X86_64 , Wine 1.1.3 (1.1.5 ) . amd ati catalys 8.9 for linux :-)
