Need more information on your computer to see what is compatible with it. However if its fairly new computer then you can go for ATI 3870($100) or 8800GT($130) or if you want to go a bit higher you can go 9800GT ($200) or 4850($200).

4870 is the bomb for single cards, if you have an sli or crossfired motherboard go for dual's nvidia (sli capable board) or ati (crossfired capable board), I have dual 4870's crossfired sic sic sic, make sure you remeber when your moding to keep in mind your power supply and ability to keep everything cool, and run a bench mark on your current card and the new one to see how much improvement you get, you can always tweak em through overclocking.

If it has 1 PCI-E socket ,the best one you could get would be Radeon 4870 x2 but probably you would have to change ur PSU.

not that expensive either, so with a decent motherboard u can have dual.
